On June 4, EO Vietnam packed the room one more time before the fiscal year turns over. Town halls can be administrative. This one wasn't. It was loud, warm, and over too fast, which is about the best review a chapter meeting can get.
The room settling in
A thank you, and a handover
The night opened with gratitude. Our outgoing president closed out a chapter year that grew the roster, filled the events calendar, and handed over a chapter in better shape than he found it. The room gave him the reception he earned. EO Vietnam has now had eight presidencies since 2018, and every one of them was in the building's debt somehow: the forum culture, the events engine, the partnerships. None of it arrived by accident.
The vision: FUNtastic
Then incoming president Tuan Anh Le took the microphone and set the theme for FY2026/27: FUNtastic. Fun and unity, deliberately engineered: a year of bold experiences designed to make members want to show up, not feel they have to.
The theme for the year, revealed
It sounds light. It isn't. Behind the theme sits a definition of the chapter we are building: a place with a strong identity where members belong and engage, with the tools to achieve transformational growth, known for helping members become world-class leaders. And explicitly not a networking group, a status symbol, or an executive organization.

The written feedback ranged from professional ("lovely venue") to accurate (see above). We take both as confirmation the FUNtastic theme is already working.
What happens next
The new fiscal year starts July 1. The board's plans are public, the theme is set, and the calendar is filling. If the town hall was the trailer, the year itself starts now.
